On the advice of a coworker who praised the crisp crust at Mike's (Route 3 Eastbound side, near Rt. 352, in Westtown PA), I decided to stop in for a slice en route to Pete's Produce on Rt. 926. I was greeted by an earnest counter girl but I was disappointed to learn that the only slices available were plain. I ordered one and a root beer, and both arrived swiftly. To their credit, the slice came piping hot and I needed to let it cool. It looked quite conventional, and had a generous amount of standard mozzarella on it. This was a decent slice of pizza. Nothing distinguished the cheese or sauce, and indeed I added both salt and red pepper to spice it up. The crust seemed to be made of the same source that 99% of pizza joints use, but instead of the soft floppy stuff served up in most places, this had a very satisfying crispness. They call it "Neapolitan" and it surely is not, but it's decent pie nonetheless. The slice cost just $1.85; with a soda and tax, I laid out $3.71. Pretty decent budget lunch. The counter girl doubled as server and checked twice to see if I needed anything, and the friendly pizzaiolo asked me if I liked it as I was exiting.Bottom line? Value pie, where oridnary ingredients are raised up a bit by superior technique and friendly staff. Mike earns 6 stars of 10 for his slice. I am Pizza Quixote!

Mike's food is far superior to the other pizza places close to us. We love everything we've gotten ~ whether it was pizza, subs, pasta, or gyros ~ their wings are to die for ~ not the typical fried greasy wings you get. The staff is super friendly & nice too ~ always a plus to finish off a great meal!!

There would have to be some sort of Apocalypse that ruined all pizza places within 30 miles of Mikes for me ever to return to this establishment. I have eaten here multiple times and never had any complaints, so the decision to go to Mikes for lunch was an easy one to make. Suffering the side effects of drinking a bottle of wine the night before, I was craving a some grease and fat to start my day. It was a bit slow when my boyfriend and I entered around 11:30. I grabbed a soda from the cooler and we ordered lunch through the waitress who sounded like she had been programmed to be a waitress. We ordered our bacon ranch fries, a chicken cheesesteak hoagie and a meatball parm. Once the bacon ranch fries showed up, my boyfriend decided that he now needed a soda too. Now business had started to pick up and there were multiple people picking up orders. My boyfriend was attempting to weave through the eager customers, when he noticed a mother and daughter waiting in line. Just as he was about to pass them, the daughter leaned up against her mother and began seizing. A few others noticed, as well as one of the employees behind the counter as the girl, around 16, fell to the ground. Because of the society we live in, no one jumped to pick her up or help as she began to seize again on the floor. The mother sank to the floor with her daughter and was holding her, as a customer was asking her if everything was okay. The mother expressed that earlier that day the daughter was not feeling well, but she had never had seizures before and she did not know what was wrong. My boyfriend grabbed his cell phone to call 9-1-1. As he was dialing he asked the programmed waitress what the address was. At first, she stared blankly at him as if he asked her for the calculation for pi. Finally, she politely (sarcasm) handed him a menu and told him it was somewhere written on the cover as she walked away. Now at this point, the girl on the floor has come to and is screaming that everything is black. This is also about the time that I notice that the entire staff of Mikes has showed no concern for this girl, who from the sounds of her crying and screams, is scared for her life. Now, I am well aware that you can abandon the grill and ruin food, but I am sure that the customers waiting for food and the patrons seated in at the tables would understand if they did not get service for 5 minutes so that you could help this girl, who has just had multiple seizures in your restaurant. By now the girls father, a couple police cruisers and an ambulance have made it to the scene. As they strap her to a stretcher, you can see the nervous, worried faces that are worn by the mother and father. Unfortunately, the countergirl cannot read these expressions as she asked what she should do with their food and how they were going to pay. Now she has conveniently found the time to care about the situation. This is when the mother throws down a credit card. The father then tells the mother to go to the ambulance with the daughter and he will wait for the food. After 15 minutes of waiting, I'm sure he regretted the decision to dine at Mike's. He pays, takes the food and leaves. Not once did any of the Mike's staff offer help to this family. During all of the commotion, we did not even notice that our food had arrived at the table. As the ambulance drives away, we sit back at the table and begin to eat our meals. Now, regardless of the food being sub par, I will never return to this establishment because of the repulsing lack of concern that they showed for these patrons. I'd like that family to know that we share their regret for dining at Mike's. It safe to say that we will never have this regret again.

They were really nice for starters. The ambiance was great. I would've tweaked some things though. For my appetizer I got broccoli bites which were more than your regular Italian restaurant. We had about 10 of them. Next I got the ravioli. I would've served them differently. They were served in what they were cooked in which was very hot. Too much cheese too. My dad got the cheese steak with fried onions and it was very good..... Nice and hot with a fresh roll. I would defenitaly recommend mikes to a friend!

Definitely my go to pizza place. Nothing on the menu has ever disappointed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is b/c sometimes the wait is longer than it should be for a place like this. Overall the food is good and I usually Dont mind waiting.

Highly recommend the cheesesteaks and the pizza steaks. They make the pizza steaks with provolone cheese but I recommend you ask him to use mozzarella instead. I also highly recommend their white pizza topped with diced tomato. The only thing that stops me me from giving them five stars is their annoying practice of not giving you your check at the table to look over or letting you pay the waitress. You never actually get to see your check, you have to stand in line at the cash register, tell them what you had and then they tell you what you owe. I have no idea why they will not let the waitress give you your check, it's very odd way of doing things and it cost them a star.

I am a stickler for good pizza, and given the competition out there you have to be great! Had a slice at Mikes the other night and was not blown away. The crust was good, but not quite thin enough. The sauce was sweet - a plus. There was a decent amount of cheese and a generous amount of toppings, but the slices were so small! I like either a real Chicago deep dish or a real New York slice that you have to fold in half - and you won't find either here! Mikes is good for the family, with lots of booth seating, a kid friendly menu, relatively low prices (A large plain is only $10) and a casual atmosphere, but their pizza won't keep me coming back!

Good sandwiches (i.e. cheesesteaks, chicken parm hoagie, meatball hoagie, etc.). The pizza is alright - not too big a fan of their crust personally.

By far my favorite cheese steak I have ever had. I have had pretty much every single cheesesteak in philadelphia and I still come home for this one whenever I can. Its a perfect combo of steak and cheese, but most importantly, its the best roll I have tried. I also put the pizza on the tops of my chart. I typicaly prefer a very thin and crispy crust, but something about the sauce and the light fluffy yet crispy dough really works. Their large pies are better than the slice pies, not sure why! Nata and her family have been running this place since I can remember and I will always remain faithful! They are the best around and worth going to! They get packed on friday and sat nights so make sure you call ahead!

I am a life long West Chester area resident who bought a home within a mile of Mike's about a year and a half ago. Since that time, the quality and Mike's has declined--chip steak and chip chicken steak are used as much as possible, suggesting heavier reliance on frozen product. The end result is a good menu made with sub par ingredients. It's a shame because the family who owns this place seem like great people.

After being given the wrong order twice I finally received the correct order. My pizza dough on my pizza was raw & consisted of all cheese, no toppings. I had ordered broccoli bites, they were burnt to the point of being black. I was very disappointed with the quality of food today, I will not be going to mike's ever again.

I've been going here ever since they opened and the food is always consistent. Nice crispy crust on their pizza, great cheese steaks and mozzarella sticks. The best part about the mozzarella sticks is that there are always plenty to share. Employees are always nice and friendly. If they still had their arcade games and pinball, I would say they are 5 stars!
